Tryout Procedure

For the first night of tryouts, please arrive around 30 minutes prior to start time in order to allow sufficient time to check-in, receive your tryout jersey, and to put on your equipment.

• Every player will be required to check-in with the Registrar each night of tryouts so that the Evaluators know that your player is present especially for the pre-grouped teams for scrimmages.
• On the first night, each player will be provided a jersey with a tryout number.
• As you enter each of the rinks, there will be tables setup for check-in and jersey distribution.

• Every player is required to wear their tryout jersey for every night of tryouts. The number on the jersey is their tryout number and is the only way evaluators will know who the player is.
• The tryout jerseys are for keep for all tryout participants

Please notify the Registrar with any absences.

• Team selections and registration link will be emailed either late Thursday evening or Friday when a player has been selected for a team.
• The email will specify the time frame in which players will have register before their spot may be offered to another player.
• Two payment options are offered: (1) Full (2) 4 Installments of ~25% of season fee. If you require a different installment option or financial assistance, please contact the Registrar.
• There is an additional 2% fee for credit cards, no additional charge for debit.
• Rosters: Rosters will be visible on the website and in the Crossbar mobile app once all the registrations have completed.

• After team selection registration, new players will be able to select an available player number.
• Please order your home/away game jersey and socks beginning April 19, 2024.
• The uniform order website link will be communicated by the club to all registered players.
• Practice socks, shells, warm ups and bags are also available for purchase but are optional

• Princeton Jr Tigers utilizes the "Up-Down" number management system. With the large number of travel players in certain birth years, there may be a limited available numbers especially under #40.
• Up-Down - When a number is in use, players in that birth-year, the birth-year above and the birth-year below cannot select the number. For example, if a player born on 11/1/2012 selects #20, that number cannot be selected by anyone born in 2011, 2012 or 2013.
